Bizarre. You found the problem the same day I actually had some time to
troubleshoot it, and it is indeed the case. The nv driver cannot run
Xinerama on Dapper. Now that I switched to the Nvidia driver, Xinerama
runs just fine.

I suppose we should change this to Xorg now?
