[Bug 50898] Can't boot with kernel 2.6.15-25

When I boot the 2.6.15-25 (686) kernel the boot process does not go past
the "Mounting root filesystem" stage (second line outputted by usplash).

When I try 2.6.15-25 (686) in recovery mode, the following error is
continuously printed:

udevplug[972]: make_queue: unable to create /dev/.udev/queue : No such
file or directory

Booting with 2.6.15-23 (686) works fine.
