It seems that the VIA VT8251 is now better supported through the
sata_via patch (AHCI patch fails with current ubuntu kernels, probably
due to libata backports, see my messages above).

I already had added a VT8251 enabled sata_via.c to my kernel, now I just
removed the ahci.ko kernel module, rebuilt my initrd -- now it works. I
cannot say anything about stability, we'll see.

Currently I'm recompiling my kernel with a "remove-the-via-ahci/add-the-
via-sata-code"-patch. I'll post it here after I have switched to this
new kernel.
