Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.15-23-686

After suspending and resuming successfully a few times, my Thinkpad T43 will resume without the root parition /dev/sda1 (ext3) readable. I'm not able to find out if it is mounted because I cannot run any programs. These errors were repeated numerous times in dmesg:
sd 0:0:0:0: SCSI error: return code = xxxxxxxxx
end_request: I/O error, dev sda, sector xxxxxxxx

Oddly the other parititions:
  /dev/sda2 on /home type reiserfs
  /dev/sda6 on /opt type ext3
are readable.

** Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Untriaged
         Status: Unconfirmed

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.15-23-686
