[Bug 49682] Kernel can not find /dev/st0 after some time

The SCSI Tape is used as a backup device every night. It runs fine for
some weeks and all od a sudden it does not find the tape any more.

MB is an Asus P2B-S with an Adaptec 7890 Chipset.
