[Bug 49225] LTSP Thin client fails to boot

Public bug reported:

After upgrade to Dapper, our thin clients failed to boot. The kernel
loaded and started without any problems. However, the system hangs
during processing init scripts from initrd.img-2.6.15-23-386 , the last
message is

[...] init-bottom
Done

This problem does not occure with the kernel from Breezy (
vmlinuz-2.6.12-9-386, initrd.img-2.6.12-9-386). Unfortunately, some
drivers are missing in Breezy kernel and we cannot use it with Dapper.
The boot problem persists when Dapper kernel ( vmlinuz-2.6.15-23-386,
initrd.img-2.6.15-23-386 ) is used for booting LTSP client from Breezy.
