Pretty much have to blame this on bintutils and/or gcc:

scsi_mod: value -6917529019002620440 out of IMM22 range

The bug is that scsi_mod cannot be loaded because of an invalid size
that the module loader cannot handle. Without scsi_mod loading, the
other modules cannot load.
