Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.15-23-686

Following problem appeared after upgrading to Kubuntu Dapper:

Keyboard and mouse sometimes hang for a moment. This means that some
letters do not appear at all, or they appear 10 times at a time. (This
also happens for spaces-, backspace- and cursor-move-characters)

Example: "Hello, my me is Nico Dietrich and thisssssss bug is realy annoying!"
(i wanted to write "name" and "this")

Mouse handling has similar problems: clicking and moving sometimes
doesn't show any effect.

System information:
 * Toshiba Satellite L10-101 (see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/ToshibaSatelliteL10-101)
 * It seems that this problem doesn't depend on X since this effect can also be observed on TTY1.
 * Same thing happens with the 386-kernel (instead of the 686 one)
 * It seems to be a kernel problem: The problem doesn't appear with the current debian testing kernel (2.6.15-1-686)

 * This forum post seems to me related:

** Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed
