Hi, just to report, after a fresh install of 6.06 on Thinkpad x60s,
ipw3945 worked out of the box with the default 386 kernel. With the 686
(smp) kernel, no wireless extensions are showing up anymore in iwconfig.

lsmod shows the module loaded; dmesg and syslog do not show any error:

ariel at ariel-laptop:~$ dmesg |grep ipw
[4294687.244000] ipw3945: Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945 Network Connection driver for Linux, 1.0.5m
[4294687.244000] ipw3945: Copyright(c) 2003-2006 Intel Corporation
[4294687.244000] ipw3945: Detected Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection

As you see I tried upgrading the driver to 1.0.5 (dapper comes with
1.0.3). There is absolutely no change.

Any chance we can get a fix for this?

Thanks!
