Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.15

Dapper on AMD64

When I run "fakeroot make-kpkg --append-to-version[...] kernel_image
..." as suggested in the KernelHowto
(https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelHowto), I get the following error:

drivers/net/wireless/rt2600/mlme.c: In function ‘AsicSetRxAnt’:

make[5]: *** [drivers/net/wireless/rt2600/mlme.o] Error 1

It might be an issue with binutils (the version installed is
2.16.1cvs200601116-1ubuntu2)

** Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed
