I noticed that my iPod (60Gb video) is missing from drivers/usb/storage/unusual_devs.h:

from output of 'hal-device'

  usb.product_id = 4617  (0x1209)  (int)
  usb.vendor = 'Apple Computer, Inc.'  (string)

0x1209 is nowhere to be found.  I think the following should be added to
unusual_devs.h:

UNUSUAL_DEV( 0x05ac, 0x1209, 0x0000, 0x9999,
                "Apple",
                "iPod",
                US_SC_DEVICE, US_PR_DEVICE, NULL,
                US_FL_FIX_CAPACITY ),
