[Bug 12214] Re: After shutdown, screen output disappears but laptop does not actually power off

I still have this problem with a HP Pavilion ze2397ea  AMD64.
Initially it powered off correctly, but with the first round of updates after installing dapper, the problem appeared again. I don't know which package should I downgrade, and I don't know either if this could be possible by a matter of other packages' dependencies.
