Hello,

With the kernel from benh, i booted with the initrd from dapper and with
a breezy install-cd (dapper were not installable). stage1 succeed. After
a lot of tricks, i copied benh's kernel and launch the stage2.

I actually have a ubuntu with noisy fan, but network and a console. X is
not starting.

I really think this bug is a duplicate of bug #24521 .
