This is a transcript of what happens when I try to install linux-image package
onto my up-to-date 5.10 Ubuntu Breezey machine.  As you will see, the package
install requires a version of mkinitramfs which understands the -f option, but
5.10 does not have such a mkinitramfs.

# apt-get install linux-image-2.6.12-10-686
