Please update the Makefile as well to reflect the version changes. It's still:
UNIONFS_VERSION  = 1.1.1

The user will think it's still 1.1.1 because dmesg says so.
Would you mind to include AUTHORS, COPYING, ChangeLog, INSTALL, NEWS, README as well - like patch-kernel.sh would do?
