Public bug report changed: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/29601 Comment: I've tried disabling the dsdt with no luck. The 386 compiled version boots fine, but the 686 one freezes. This didn't happened to me in warty, hoary or breezy, where I could succesfully boot the 686-compiled kernel.
