The was for 2.6.15 which I don't have anymore. On edgy (2.6.17) quick tests show that this can be corrected by the webcam software too, not just the module:
gqcam shows swapped blue/red while camorama shows the colors right.

I will wait a little and test it with Feisty, I think/hope there will be
some official video-chat app in there, so I can test it with that, and
if that works I'll just drop this report.
