*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 36596 *** the same for me I have a IBM thinkpad x24 with a "ATI Technologies, Inc. Radeon Mobility 7000 (M6 LY) 1" and use the radeon driver too and since I updated to dapper I have this freezes too. -- dapper freezes on laptop https://launchpad.net/bugs/38802
