Same for me. Installed ubuntu-server 6.06.1 on Pentium 200MMX, Intel
motherboard (unfortunately I forgot chipset number). Went for plain
server, not LAMP. After passing grub, it prints out lines mentioning
kernel image, then "savedefault", then "boot" and thats it - reboot,
rinse, repeat.
