I see this on a T42p.  Starts to shut down, but the fan stays on, and
I'm unable to do anything except hold down the power button until it
shuts off.  I've disabled sleep entirely until then.  Reverting to
2.6.15-23 did not help, so my first guess is that -25 is only part of
the story.  I am now completely up to date on everything that is
installed, and still no luck.

I'll help in any way I can, but while I'm comfortable digging into
SIGSEGVs, ACPI stuff is not something I have any familiarity with.  I'm
going to -x all the ACPI scripts and see where that gets me.
