If your DSDT was used, you would see something like this in dmesg:
ACPI: Looking for DSDT in initramfs... found /DSDT.aml ... successfully read 14592 bytes from /DSDT.aml
ACPI: Using customized DSDT
ACPI (tbget-0282): Table [DSDT] replaced by host OS [20060127]
