Update: with Xorg 7.1 and kernel 2.6.17 from current edgy runs glxinfo flawlessly, but glxgears get immediatelly killed (attached it's strace) and e.g. ppracer freezes whole X. -- after recent update 3d acceleration with savage does not work https://launchpad.net/bugs/46314
