Public bug reported:
Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 linux-image-2.6.15-21-686 (Ubuntu)
Severity: Normal
Priority: (none set)
Status: Unconfirmed
Description:
The most likely source is the broken hibernate function. Whenever I try
to hibernate with fglrx the freezer hangs leaving the harddisk status
indicator on. So I switch my notebook off. After booting I get a kernel
panic. Booting an old 2.6.15-19-686 works without any problems - no
kernel panics.
However this issue sometimes happens without having tried to hibernate.
This is really confusing, so I will compile to kernel on my own and see what happens.
I have attached a photo of my kernel panic, so you can possibly track
the problem down, while I'm trying to find a solution.
