Public bug reported:

Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 linux-image-2.6.15-21-386 (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
I own a medion laptop with this network card:
0000:02:00.0 Ethernet controller: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88E8036 Fast Ethernet Controller (rev 10)
Subsystem: Rioworks Marvell 88E8036 Fast Ethernet Controller (Arima)

The newest module "sky2" never worked well, during intensive use, I get messages like:
[4333218.921000] NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth1: transmit timed out
[4333218.921000] sky2 eth1: tx timeout
[4333218.921000] sky2 eth1: transmit ring 406 .. 383 report=406 done=406
[4333218.921000] sky2 hardware hung? flushing

and the card stops working, I just need to rmmod and modprobe it again waiting for the next hangup.
With kernels 2.6.15-17 and older I just used the sk98lin module which works perfectly (If I use the latest version, from http://www.marvell.com/drivers/driverDisplay.do?dId=107&pId=10).
But with newer kernels I'm unable to compile it and the builtins drivers aren't working well.
