Sometimes it does not lock the computer but give this error message
capacman at ubuntu:~$ sudo ifup eth0
Password:
capacman at ubuntu:~$ sudo ifdown eth0
capacman at ubuntu:~$ sudo ifup eth0
Error : Name or service not known
corresponding /var/log/messages entry:
