[Bug 41278] maestro3 problem returns with 2.6.12-10

Description:
This problem was fixed in 2.6.12-9 but has returned in 2.6.12-10

On my laptop the boot process hangs when it tries to load the
snd_maestro3 driver. Workaround is to press Alt-F1 before it attempts to
do this. The problem occurred with an earlier version but was not
present in 2.6.12-9
