I tried booting Dapper flight 6 livecd on my beige
G3 (which boots the Breezy livecd with no problems)
using BootX and experienced the same symptom.
Presumably the kernel is failing very early before it
has switched video modes, so the screen still has the
bits left over when BootX transferred to the kernel.

Anyone have any idea how to go about debugging this?
