       Severity: Normal

Description:
Hi,

kubuntu, dapper. Idle machine, top shows 40-50% userspace, and ~10%
system, idle-time around 30%.

The top users of CPU is kded at 3%, firefox at 1%, and kwifimanager and
others at lower. Not sure what all that CPU is used for.

Had to reconfigure powernowd to get it to scale back the speed at all -
never got down to 20% usage.

Centrino laptop:
Linux lookfar.langfeldt.net 2.6.15-20-686 #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Apr 4 18:37:00 UTC 2006 i686 GNU/Linux
