[Bug 37370] Crash/freeze when restarting networking, rt2570 wireless USB (DWL-G122, rev B1)

Description:
If I do the following:

sudo /etc/init.d/networking stop
sudo /etc/init.d/networking start

the computer will lock solid (no keyboard or mouse responds), and I have
to hit the reset button. This also happens if I do the following:

sudo ifconfig rausb0 down
sudo ifconfig rausb0 up

Now, I've found that if I physically unplug and replug the device itself
between stop/start or down/up, then you don't get a crash. This is how I
avoid the problem at the moment, but it would be nice to be able to
restart.

This occurs on Dapper (using the built-in driver in Flight 5), and it
also occurs on Breezy using the CVS driver for rt2570, which you can
