[Bug 40253] hibernate, sleep does not work

Description:
Shutting down seems to go well, but when I start my computer after a
hibernate, it gets stuck. It freezes somewhere when the graphic thing is
coming up, and shows a black screen with a green area on the upper half
of the screen. The computer doesn't respond to anything at that point (
like ctrl, alt F* , etc ).

I'm running the following system:
Dell inspirion 6000
Celleron processor
Ati mobility X300 video card

The rest is not interesting I guess.

Furthermore, after a sleep. The system doesn;t wake anymore...
