[Bug 22259] Suspend-to-RAM and Suspend-to-disk don't work

Description:
I'm using a Uniwill N258KA0 laptop and I can't wake back up from either kind of
suspend. Attempting to recover from a suspend-to-disk results in my machine
rebooting unexpectedly while it's in the middle of kernel loading, and
attempting to recover from a suspend-to-RAM results in my backlight never coming
back on and my machine becoming otherwise unresponsive.

I'm running 5.10, with all the latest updates as of 2005-09-22
