Public bug reported:

Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
The system correctly recognizes the BCM4306 802.11b/g Wireless LAN, it
shows in the network list, but it won't connect - it gives the following
error: Check that the settings are correct for this network and that the
computer is correctly connected to it. The Broadcom wired works fine,
an SMC PCMCIA card detects and is instantly working. The Broadcom
worked fine in 5.10 using the Windows Wireless tool. I'm unsure what
its case is, and it failed to initialize the wireless as well during the
install, even though it was correctly recognized during setup. I had to
hardwire the network to install 6.04. It says it could not enable Eth1
(which Eth* could be any card. The only thing I can see it's recognizing
[u'net', u'net.80203'] instead of u'net.80211.
