[Bug 35057] Cannot read LCD status

Description:
Working on Kubuntu 6.04 Flight 5 sometimes I obtain reset messages from
my LCD screen ("Display changed : LCD on"). I can work, but it's not
normal. Error occurs on Flight 4 and 5 of Kubuntu. On flight 4 error was
more frequent. It doesn't occurs on Ubuntu 5.10. LCD is clearly bad
managed. If I try with dmesg I obtain two error messages every 0.1 sec,
just like this :

Hence, I think it's someting regarding ACPI, but it could also be
something regarding SVGA (Nvidia GeForce Go 6200) or X server. I run
Kubuntu on a ASUS A6BOOK laptop.
