Public bug reported:
Affects: linux-source-2.6.12 (Ubuntu)
Severity: Major
Priority: (none set)
Status: Unconfirmed
Description:
Setup is: 2 Maxtor 6Y120L0 harddrives both connected as master to its
own channel on a Promise PDC20267.
I created a type "fd" partitions on both disks and created a raid1
device of them. Two SATA drives also running as software-raid1 are
running fine.
In the very moment the sync is finished I get this:
[] __do_IRQ+0xa3/0xb1
[] do_IRQ+0x19/0x24
[] common_interrupt+0x1a/0x20
[] __make_request

Code: <lotsofnumbers>
<0>Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception in interrupt
I didn't write down all the data... if you need it I'll add it here. The
error is reproducible.
