Public bug reported:
Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 (Ubuntu)
Severity: Normal
Priority: (none set)
Status: Needs Info
Description:
(Not necessarily a xorg problem - just a guess)
A combined keyboard/mouse, wireless with USB interface doesn't work at
all with Dapper Flight 5. The keyboard/mouse is a Ruwida
(http://www.ruwido.com/en/platform_hip.htm).
The keyboard works during POST - e.g. I can go into the BIOS and change
values normally. However, as soon a Dapper Drake boots neigher the
keyboard, nor the mouse works at all. If I boot the same pc on a Knoppix
3.8 CD the keyboard/mouse is fine. If I take the keyboard/mouse to my
other pc running both Windows 2000 and Breezy Badger it works correctly
in both OS'es.
Hardware: MSI K8NGM2 motherboard (nVidia 6150/430 chip set), SATA hard
disk, IDE DVD-RW.
Useful (?) outputs:
kme at mmc:~$ lsusb
