[Bug 32504] LCD Out of Range during graphical boot

Description:
I have an SONY SDM-HX73 LCD 17', after upgrading to dapper during the graphical boot I get the "OUT OF RANGE 35.7KHz/80Hz" warning and the screen enters power saving mode in a few seconds.
I had to remove the "splash" option from boot to be able to "use the screen".
