Public bug reported:

Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 ekiga (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
     Assignee: Ubuntu Kernel Team
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
Upgraded from Breezy to Dapper 6.06,
Kernel 2.6.15-19-386,
Senston is the name of the webcam (only thing written on it).
It's a night cam with 6 led's inside & a light sensor, if that makes any difference?

Webcam seems to work fine with Wengo Phone (not fully tested in call yet, but it displays fine in preference's), but 9 times out of 10 fully locks up the computer when used with Ekiga.
Everything completely locks up & I have to do a hard shutdown by holding down the power button, before I can use the computer again.

dmesg output when attached to comp..
[4302558.915000] usb 3-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3[4302559.185000] Linux video capture interface: v1.00
[4302559.231000] drivers/usb/media/spca5xx/spca5xx-main.c: USB SPCA5XX camera found. Type Vimicro Zc301P 0x301b
[4302559.348000] usbcore: registered new driver spca5xx
[4302559.348000] drivers/usb/media/spca5xx/spca5xx-main.c: spca5xx driver 00.57.08 registered

Not too sure how to go about de-bugging it, with having to restart
everytime.
