Public bug reported:

Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Minor
       Priority: Medium
     Assignee: Ben Collins
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
With Breezy and Dapper, Hibernation works fine on my Desktop machine...except
when I put my SCSI controller card in the machine.
When the SCSI card is present in the machine, I can hibernate fine, but when I
restart the machine, it reads the data/"pages" from the swap, but as soo as this
is done, instead of starting to restore the desktop, the screen goes all black,
the "Caps Lock" light on the keyboard, flashes, and the machine hangs and is
completely unresponsive. I must press the reset button, and then it goes through
a "normal" boot sequence.
I checked in /var/log/messages, but I can't see any relevant kernel message in
there. I think the machine locks so early in the "boot"/resume process, that
there is no logging yet activated.

The SCSI card is an old Adaptec 29xx which uses the "aic7xxx" module, the
motherboard is has an 'nForce' chipset.
