Ok. When I have speakers plugged into the line out, the "Master" volume controls
the volume level.  If I drag the volume down to 0 the volume is softer but
definately still there. If I mute the volume it stops.

If I unplug the speakers sound comes out through the keyboard. This volume is
controled by "PC Speaker" volume. I can do the same thing as above.

The point is sound still comes out when the volume is set to 0.
