?? I think you misread the thread completely.  
The bug was about wake up on G3 ibooks (first post). Some people polluted it with a different problem on G4 ibooks. The 
bug on g4 is fixed. The bug on G3 is still there. Please reopen since this thread contains some info as to the source of 
the problem.
