I have the same problem. I've hacked the pxelinux.cfg/default to give the kernel "rsize=8192,wsize=8192" as 
boot parameters and the ramdisk to mount the NFS with the same options. This did not solve the problem. If 
the client successfully boots, i cannot get a reasonable terminal for 5 minutes.
