Mmmhm, I realize that it's more complicated than that.

Yeah, my Gentoo kernel has cpufreq statically, and gives me 2 GHz with no powernowd.

Yes, I don't think it's powernowd issue.

I belive I have the latest BIOS, it's been updated at least once.
