Occasionally, my T43 thinkpad (running latest breezy) will lock up completely. 
The display continues to function, but the computer is not responsive to input.

The caps lock key does not toggle the caps lock light.  

The only thing that can be done is hold down the power key until the machine
powers off, and restart.
