Ok, i tried these things and nothing changed. I also managed to try the usb
drive on another pc with ubuntu hoary. The pc has an nforce2 motherboard and i
used the onboard AC97 sound. It worked fine, i couldn't detect any problems. So
i suppose the problem is related to the laptop. I'll try to be more restrained
when looking for bugs in future.
