Summary: variable number of frequencies in
                    scaling_available_frequencies
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: linux
        AssignedTo: ben.collins at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: pascal.mosbah at gmail.com
         QAContact: kernel-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

When using kernel-image 2.6.12-8-386 with the p4_clockmod module, the file
/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_available_frequencies shows 8
frequencies (312500 625000 937500 1250000 1562500 1875000 2187500 2500000) but
with the version 2.6.12-9-386 (or 2.6.12-9-686) this file shows only 2
frequencies (2187500 2500000). I am using an Acer TravelMate 240 and the
processor is an intel celeron 2.5GHz (details are below).
