Andreas,

I see the resemblance of the bugs, but I'm not using any USB devices.

The docking station mouse is a PS/2 mouse; the keyboard uses an old-style plug.
I have the monitor on a digital cable.  That's it.

I suspect it is the docking mechanism that affects the USB somehow.
