OK - further testing and applying a workaround (acpi=off pci=noacpi) suggested
by infinity on irc indicates that there is an acpi problem. But thankfully I'm
not entirely wrong as 8139too really should handle droped interrupts better. I
think this bug should be retitled as kernel should disable acpi if it detects
broken acpi.
