           Summary: serveRAID-8i Serial-Attached SCSI Controller
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: kernel-package
        AssignedTo: ben.collins at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: dean-bugzilla at blah.net.au
         QAContact: kernel-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

Unable to successfully create detect, partition and create ext3 filesystem on
IBM x3666 using serveRAID-8i (aacraid) driver in Hoary Hedgehog. Hoary is (on
some attempts) able to detect the RAID-1 array, but crashes 50% through creating
a filesystem. This repeatable every time.

Hardware is an IBM x366 eServe with serveRAID-8i controller (P/N 13N2227) BIOS v
5.0-0 [build 777].

Tried Warty Warthog (did not detect) and Breezy (kernel panic on initial boot).
