Summary: Printer no longer detected in Breezy
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: linux
        AssignedTo: ben.collins at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: christopher at thefairground.com
         QAContact: kernel-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

My printer has stopped working as well. Odd thing is it's not detected anymore.
It was working fine 2 nights ago and has since stopped so I'm guessing one of
the updates since October 5th or 6th are responsible.

lsusb does not list it - yes it is a USB printer. Getting an error on startup
about usb as well. Here's
The only other usb device I have connected is my MS wireless mouse which is
working fine. Printer is a Lexmark e210. Switching plugs did not change the
situation. The mouse works perfectly well plugged into the port the printer was
plugged into. System -> Administration -> Printing -> right-click properties of
E210 lists this as status:

Paused: Unable to open USB device "usb://Lexmark/E210": No such device
