Summary: [breezy] new hostap drivers trigger hotplug to use
                    hostap_pci, not orinoco_pci
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: linux
        AssignedTo: ben.collins at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: burner at suppressingfire.org
         QAContact: kernel-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

Up until the latest linux-image-2.6.12-9-686, hotplug has been detecting my
thinkpad T30's internal 802.11b and loading the orinoco_pci driver. Since the
latest update, hotplug is loading hostap_pci, which doesn't seem to work with my
config (as far as I can tell, anyway). ifup stopped working, and NetworkManager
couldn't find a wireless card.

Once I added a hotplug blacklist entry for hotplug_pci and rebooted, everything
worked fine again.
